This listing is for one wheel-thrown handmade lantern with a matte black/blue glaze on a white porcelain clay. This lantern is a nice whale tail lantern that puts off a nice pattern of light through the holes when lit at night.

The lantern is hand thrown on a potters wheel, then it is hand carved, and put through a bisque firing. I then hand paint and finally finish with a cone 6 firing. These pieces are amazing on the deck, outdoor patio or indoors as well. You can also set the solar light in the window to charge and then set it back on the lantern at night. A small votive candle can be burned directly in the lantern as well (not included). The included solar light comes on automatically from dusk to dawn. These lanterns put off a magical pattern around them at night when they are lit and look amazing all day in the sun as well.
