This listing is for two wheel-thrown handmade ceramic lanterns with a crystal blue glaze on a white stoneware clay. These lanterns have nice circular carvings throughout and put off great light through the circles.
The lanterns are hand thrown on a potters wheel, I then carve the lantern, followed by hand painting and finally finished with a cone 10 glaze firing. These pieces are amazing on a lanai, outdoor patio or indoors as well. They charge with minimal light near a window, or the topper can be taken off and set in the window for charging. A small votive candle can be burned directly in the lantern as well. The included solar light comes on automatically from dusk to dawn. These lanterns put off a magical pattern around them at night when they are lit and look amazing all day in the sun as well.

All of my pottery is handmade in my home studio. My work is a combined reflection of places i have been and colors of the sea.
